Application for accreditation from these organizations is your responsibility. As described below, extra fees are often required.
If you intend to be reimbursed for your tuition, we suggest that you obtain approval from your employer in advance. Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon successful completion of each course.
PSU graduate course credits are available where indicated. These courses are offered cooperatively by Yoga Calm and PSU Continuing Education / Graduate School of Education with the School of Extended Studies.
Teachers and counselors may also obtain non-credit transcripted CEUs from PSU. These units meet NBCC requirements for continuing education credits for counselors and MSWs, and are typically accepted in all states. We suggest verifying their acceptance with your licensing board or professional organization and then contacting your Yoga Calm course instructor before you register.
Registration fees for PSU graduate credits are $60/graduate quarter hour, though they are not included in the Yoga Calm course. You will complete PSU credit registration paperwork at the course and then PSU will bill you directly. There is an additional PSU fee for first time students.
PSU CEU fees are $20 for up to 30 transcripted CEUs. Ten instructional hours are required for one CEU (fractions allowed).
Washington State Clock hours are also available by arrangement with the Washington School Counselor Association (WSCA). WSCA members pay no additional fees. Fees for non-members are $1 per clock hour. Students complete the WSCA forms at the course and then are responsible for mailing them in with any required fees. WSCA then signs the form.
Yoga teachers can meet their Yoga Alliance continuing education requirements by completing Yoga Calm courses led by instructors with an RYT-200 designation. You can receive one CEU per contact hour. There are no extra course costs.
Selected Yoga Calm courses may meet Occupational, Physical and Massage Therapists requirements. In Oregon, OTs can receive one CEP per contact hour. There are no additional costs. More info
